Bernard Thiem, age 82, of Silverhill, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday November 27th, 2022, after a short period of illness. Funeral Services are scheduled for 12:00 noon on Saturday December 10th, 2022 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 400 N. Alston St. in Foley with Reverend Ryan Cramer officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00am until the funeral hour. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard Karl Thiem and Edna Carole [Keller] Thiem and wife Linda Marie [Patrick] Thiem. He is survived by his two daughter’s Sheila [Hershel] Ledford and Donna [Jerry] Mau. Sisters- Vivian Engel and Shirley [ Mike] Chappelle Brother-John [Diane] Thiem Grandchildren- Tara Ellis, Tammy Griffin, Christin Lawhorne and Christopher Lawhorne Seven great-grandchildren and several nieces also survive. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Pauls Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or Georgia MTN Hospice Everyone is invited for lunch, at the church fellowship hall, immediately following the graveside service. Pine Rest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
