Obituary of Jonathan A. Leisenring Clifton Springs, Jonathan A. Leisenring age 44, died unexpectedly on Wednesday August 3, 2022 at Clifton Springs Hospital & Clinic. Friends may call on Tuesday (Aug.9) from 5-7pm at the Cheney Funeral Home 70 Main Street Phelps. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday (Aug 10) 11am at the Manchester First Baptist Church 54 S. Main Street Manchester NY 14504. It is requested that donations be made in memory of Jonathan to St. Judes Children Hospital or the Wayne County Humane Society 1475 County House Road Newark NY 14513. Jonathan was born on April 17, 1978 in Rochester NY the son of John and Susan Avoli Leisenring. He worked for Garlock in Palmyra for over 10 years where he worked in various positions. Jonathans passion for golf was renewed when his son Liam took interest in the sport. They cherished many memories together on the golf course especially when Jonathan was able to witness Liam get his first hole in one. Jonathan enjoyed Funko Pops and constructing Legos with Tristan, one of his favorites was the Batman Bat Mobile. Jonathan was happiest in the kitchen and had a passion for anything to do with cooking. Most important to Jonathan was his love for his boys, wife and his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Toni Leisenring and their 2 sons Tristan and Liam all of Clifton Springs. His mother and father John and Susan Leisenring. Brother Jason (Lynn) Leisenring and their 2 children Isabella and Ashton of Aldie VA Mother in Law Laura Plucinik of Savannah, NY Brother in law Stephen (Christina) Plucinik of Rose Nieces and nephews Kassandra (Austin) Williams Brianna, George and Geoffrey Plucinik A great-niece and great-nephew, many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
