View Tribute Book JOHNNY STACY, 66 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Buchanan General Hospital. Born in Grundy, VA, he was the son of the late Rosie Stacy. He was a longtime resident of Buchanan County and was of the Baptist faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a carpenter and loved to garden. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his Son: Lewis Stacy; Grandparents: Arthur and Rebecca Stacy. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Linda (Hardin) Stacy; Sons: Jimmy (Lisa) Stacy of Johnson City, TN, Mark Stacy of Hurley, VA; Grandchildren: Michael Stacy, Rosie Stacy, Austin Stacy, Zachary Stacy, Emily Stacy, Cain Mooney, Saundra Stacy, Carmen Stacy and Nikki Stacy; Sisters: Tammy Williams and Debbie Newberry; Brother: Roger Hockett; Special Friends: Thurman and Sherman Fuller. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Two Hands for Christ Community Church Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services for JOHNNY STACY will be conducted Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Two Hands for Christ Community Church with Tommy Conn and Joe Conn officiating with burial to follow in the Baker Cemetery on Race Fork, Hurley, VA. Active Pallbearers will be Ricky Hardin, Jeff Hardin, Dylan Hall, Jimmy Stacy, Zachary Stacy and Austin Stacy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Stacy, Benny Hardin, Sherman Fuller and Thurman Fuller. Grundy Funeral Home of Grundy, VA is honored to serve the family of JOHNNY STACY.
