View Tribute Book JANICE JOYCE (JUSTICE) LANDON, 81 years of age of Bristol, VA, formerly of Michigan, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the Rehab Center and Memory Care at Bristol, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Grundy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Milton Emerson and Alma (Elswick) Justice. She was a longtime resident of Michigan and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. Janice was a former secretary, bookkeeper, switchboard operator at Grundy Hospital and employee of Sears & Roebuck in Michigan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Carl Landon; Grand Niece: Madeline Elise Hale. Those left to cherish her memory include her Son: Robert Steven Landon of Bristol, VA; Sister: Charldeen (Justice) Bagwell of Grundy, VA; Nieces: Jane Elizabeth (Carter) Hale and children: Carter Jr., Emerson and Lillian Grace of Mobile, AL, Mary Katherine Bagwell Johnson and children: Gavin Emerson Bagwell and Arrow Charles Johnson of Abingdon, VA. Friends may call at the Grundy Baptist Church Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services for JANICE JOYCE (JUSTICE) LANDON will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Crouse officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA. Active Pallbearers will be Steve Landon, Gavin Bagwell and Deacons of Grundy Baptist Church.
