Sometimes we have to say goodbye to someone way too early. Such is the case with Jessica Jean (Horne) Miller, age 46. She died Sunday, December 25,2022 in Exeter Hospital following a brief illness. Jessica was born September 30, 1976 in Elyria, Ohio, daughter of Roy and Lynel (Szczepanski) Horne of Hudson, N.H.. She went to Midveiw School in Ohio until 1990. She loved school and was a member of “TAG”, the Talented and Gifted group. After moving to N.H, Jessica attended school at Hudson Memorial and then Alvirne High School, where she was a graduate of the Class 1994. After high school, Jessica worked in the computer field, but found she liked working with people better than computers. She went to work for Home Depot,, both in Nashua, N.H. and later in Ohio. For over a 20 year career she managed several departments. Most recently Jessica was employed at Savers in Plaistow, N.H.. She loved being outside working with plants and growing beautiful flowers. Other hobbies were candle making and painting, which she was very good at. She shared a love of music with her Dad. Her all time favorite thing was collecting Nightmare Before Christmas memorabilia. Once she saw the movie she had to have anything and everything from the movie. Besides her devoted parents Roy and Lynel Horne, Jessica is survived by a daughter Brittany Jean Coyne of Chardon, Ohio, a son, Aaron Russell Miller of Hudson, N.H. a brother, Thomas Joseph Horne of Derry NH as well as her fiancé Robert Middleton, also of Hudson NH. Following cremation a time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11th from 4pm – 6pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St. in Hudson, NH. Burial will be private.
