Obituary James L. Cooper, 89, Salix, died December 28, 2022 at Westmoreland Manor. Born October 6, 1933 in Johnstown, son of Perry and Blanche (MIller) Cooper. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Mildred (Roddy); brothers, Francis, John, and Russell; sister, Nan Newsome; and stepsons, Gary and Dennis Hicks. Survived by step-daughter, Pamela (Joseph Negri); step-grandson, Scott Woods (Jennifer); step-great granddaughters, Megan and Kara Woods; and sister, Roberta Zolbe. Jim was retired from People’s Natural Gas; and was a USMC Korean Conflict veteran. By request, there will be no public viewing. Public graveside service will be held at Noon on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Richland Mausoleum.
