Joan Mabel Kulikowski Westtown, NY Mrs. Joan Mabel Kulikowski of Westtown, NY died Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at her home. She was 95. Joan was born March 11, 1927 in Englewood, NJ, the only child of the lateMicheal Stuart and the late Mabel LorettaCorcoran. Joan was so fond of her childhood memories growing up in Edgewater, NJ. She married the love of her life, Joseph J. Kulikowski on December 17, 1955 and was happily married until his passing in 2002. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Scapular in Unionville until the church closed its doors. Joan worker for over 30 years as a Process Server for Orange Paper Placers in Goshen. Joan was a loving and devoted Wife, Mother, Granny and Great Granny. Joan always took great pleasure in creating beautiful quilted or knitted treasures for those she loved. Joan could often be found wandering around her yard, checking on and picking blueberries that she enjoyed sharing with family and neighbors, watching the birds and taking in the beauty of her gardens that she loved so much. We would especially like to thank Joan’s aide, Donna Thornton, for the wonderful friend and companion you have been to mom for the past several years, she was so happy to have you with her…two peas in a pod. We would also like to thank Dr. Robert Dinsmore for the decades of care, compassion, friendship and love you always showed our dear mother. Joan is survived by her three beloved daughters, Margaret ” Maggie” DeBlasio and her husband Ralph of Sloatsburg, NY, Mariann Ewanciw and her husband Mark of Greenville, NY, and Nancy Hughes and her husband Jim of Westtown, NY. Her six grandchildren… Who always thought of their Granny as a very special lady: Matthew ( Marissa) and Joseph (Jackie) DelCantaro, Thomas (Samara) and Andrew (Jessica) Ewanciw, Michael Hughes and Meghan ( Jon) Vargas and six great grandchildren, Evan, Noah and Lennox Hughes, Oaklyn and Aspyn Ewanciw and Leonardo DelCantaro. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, Inc., 100 E. Main St. Port Jervis, NY 12771 on Monday, January 2, 2023 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 with a 10:00am prayer at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at Holy Cross R.C. Church, 626 County Route 22, Middletown, NY 10940. Burial will follow at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen, NY.
