It is with great sadness that the family of Francis Earl Cunningham, Sr. announce his passing on November 26, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Cunningham and George Cunningham; his wife Donna Cunningham; his siblings, George Cunningham, Michael Cunningham, Thomas Cunningham, Dolores Rogers and Ruth Ann Kelly; and his son Joseph Cunningham. Earl was an active member at St. Laurence Church. He led their prayer group on Tuesday evenings for over 40 years. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Laurence Church. Earl loved watching Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles, as well as Notre Dame football. He is survived by: his sister, Theresa McDevitt; his children, Francis Earl Cunningham, Jr. (Patricia), Amy Gallagher (John); his stepdaughters, Lauri Painter and Kristi McDonald (Sean); his grandchildren, Timothy Cunningham (Kate), Justin Cunningham (Colleen), Courtney Cunningham, Lauren, Christian and Jack Gallagher; his step-grandsons Brianna and Thomas Gough, Colin and Dalton McDonald; and his great-grandchildren Tyler Cunningham and Isla Cunningham. He is also survived by his many beloved nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to the Viewing Saturday, December 3, 2022, 9:00-10:15 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery immediately following.
