Elyease Baker Watson, 97, of Bruceton, TN passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon, TN. Celebration of Life services will be held at Sandy Point General Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Melton officiating on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 2 PM. No visitations will be held only service at the church with Graveside Service to follow with burial at Sandy Point Cemetery. Mrs. Watson was born October 5, 1925 in Benton County to the late E. H. Baker and Ivey Douglas Baker. She was a devoted wife to her “sweetheart” Sam Watson for 68 years and devoted mom and homemaker for her family, that she loved dearly. She was a born again, child of her Savior who she served all of her life and a member of Sandy Point General Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, E.J. Baker, O.N. Baker, Either Baker, Gran Baker and an infant brother, Baby Elmer Baker; one sister Irene Baker Watson. She had one living sister Glady Baker Floyd of Camden, TN. She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Ricky) Reed of Franklin, TN, Jean (Jerry) Chandler of Camden, TN, Donna (Gary) Moore of Camden, TN. Five grandchildren, Jeana Duret, A.J. (Kristen) Reed, Matthew (Kayla) Chandler, Clayton (Kristina) Moore and Emily-Lauren (Ethan) Lee; Nine great grandchildren, Ben, Madelynn, Colton, Graydon, Arrington, Luerie, Tucker, Emerson, Elsie, Adeline. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting contributions to be made to Sandy Point Cemetery Fund.
