Donna Maxine Higgins May 6, 1928 – November 29, 2022 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Donna Maxine Higgins age 94 of Brown City died November 29, 2022 under hospice care. She was born to Irvin and Esther Ross in Goodland Township. She married Sheldon “Pete” Muxlow on August 21, 1946. Pete died in 1989 and she married Sanford Higgins in 1996. Maxine was a homemaker, housewife and mother. She loved to read and was a volunteer worker at the library. Maxine had also worked at the local shoe store and had been a member of the Cameo Club. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Terry (Linda) Muxlow and Shelly (Tim) Frostick, many grandchildren and step-grandchildren along with step-sons Lee Higgins, Larry (Bonnie) Higgins, Lawayne (Theresa) Higgins and step-daughters Lorraine (Randy) Cramer, Lynn (Gary) Cummins, Lucille Higgins and Louann (Ray) Jagotka. She was preceded in death by her husbands Pete Muxlow and Sanford Higgins , two infant sons, three sisters and two brothers. A private graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may made to United Hospice Service in Marlette.
