Obituary of Catherine Caliagas Catherine “Cathy” Caliagas, 87 passed away peacefully on Friday November 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved mother of Stephanie Caliagas. Cathy was a very stylish lady, always “dressed to the nines.” She loved all types of music, especially jazz. Cathy was a fabulous decorator and had a flair for making beautiful floral arrangements. She always said, “life is better with Champagne.” The most important thing in her life was her family. Being all together, especially during holidays and birthdays, was paramount. Cathy’s love of the Lord along with her spirituality was dominant in her life. Surviving is one sister; Irene (Mark) Biel, also surviving are many nieces, nephews, friends, her grand doggie Ouzo and the special people that helped when it was needed most. Cathy leaves to all of us beautiful & cherished memories for a lifetime. “Our dear Cathy, rest in peace.” Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 900 S.
