Obituary Betty (Crawford) Reid “Bee” was born July 28, 1944 to the late Jimmie Lee and Gertrude Crawford. She went to sleep with the Lord on October 19, 2022. Betty, lovingly called “Bee” by her family and friends, joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School, Class of 1962. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her grandmother, Alberta Foster; husband, Thomas “Pig” Reid Jr.; two brothers, John and Henry Crawford; three sisters, Dorothy Robinson, Ronza M. Dickerson and Gladys Chambliss; three sons, Tony, Michael and Darryl Reid; one daughter, Annette Reid; one grandson, Antonio L. Reid; one brother-in law, Ronald “Bo Bo” Foster. Bee leaves to cherish her memory dearly; two sons, Anthony & Shawn (April) Reid; four daughters, Lynda Crim (Mark Benson), Cheryl & Shawntau Reid, Loretta (James) Jimerson; 13 grandchildren, Antwan Sr., Jaquata, Darryl, Chanae, Denvre & Shawn Reid Jr., Richard Crim Jr., Jimelia Harrison (Calvin Holt), Amond & Keshaun Turner, Nathaniel Holloway, Shemiqua & Shaniqua White; six great grandchildren, Antwan Reid Jr., Santana, Santiago & Harmony Holt, Lakeisha Brown & Kimayaa Dews; one sister, Linda Foster; eight nieces & nephews; five special nieces and nephews, Donald Robertson, Alicia, Derrick, Kevin & Karen Foster; a host of other special friends, nieces and nephews from her extended family. Walk-through visitation 9am -11 am Friday, November 4, at the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Family will receive friends 10am – 11am. Funeral Service at 11 am.
