Wynelle Dean Hornsby, 77, of Travelers Rest, widow of the late Ray Hornsby, passed away, Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Born in Coffee County, AL, she was a daughter of the late John Braswell and Mary Louise Sanders Dean. Mrs. Hornsby retired as an Accountant with the City of Asheville and was a member of First Baptist Church Travelers Rest. Surviving are three daughters: Lynne Eberhardt (Ken), Lisa Woodie (Tom), and Lori Hornsby; one son: Randy Hornsby (Kristi); one brother: Kenneth Dean; two sisters: Carolyn Traywick and Sherry Thurman; and eight grandchildren: Caitlin Woodie, Robert Woodie, John Eberhardt, Ashton Woodie, Sarah Eberhardt, Bailee Hornsby, Hannah Eberhardt, and Tanner Hornsby. A Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101, or North Greenville Crisis Ministry, 864 N.
