Winston’s Obituary Funeral services for Winston Dudley Wood , 75, of Tylertown, Mississippi will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in with Bro. Landon Lambert and Bro. Buddy Day officiating. Burial in the Wood Family Cemetery. Mr. Wood passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. He was born August 29, 1946 in Tylertown, Mississippi to the late Elzie and Bessie Wood. Mr. Dudley was the President of the Lexie Water Association and loved working for the county in the 1st district; he also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 50 years Gwendolyn Wood; children Jennifer (Jason) Boone and Janna (Jacob) Shepherd; grandchildren Jacob Boone, Josh Boone, Jackson Shepherd, Khloie Shepherd, Kruise Shepherd, and Addy Shepherd; brother David (Anita) Wood; nephew Shalin (Lorrie) Wood; brothers -in-law JW (Penny) Wood and Ray (Francis) Thompson; sister-in-law Ann Sumrall; along with a host of friends and loving family. Pallbearers are Shalin Wood, Gary Wood, Wade Guy, Larry Montgomery, Lenzy Youngblood, and Mac Conerly. Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and also Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.
