Obituary William Michael Moran, age 72, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Knox Community Hospital. He was born in Highland Park, Illinois to the late William C. and Mary K. (Roberson) Moran. Mike is survived by his three daughters, Michelle Anderson, Denise (Ian) Carlson and Jaclyn Shimkus; sisters, Mary (Lou) Berardi, Jan (Martin) Roche and Cheryl (Carl) Day; brothers, Charles Moran and John (Margo) Moran; along with grandchildren and extended family and friends. The family is observing private services at the Grace Community Church 18350 Hopewell Rd., Mount Vernon, OH. The Snyder Funeral Home-Lasater Chapel is handling the arrangements for the family. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Jackie Shimkus and Cheryl Day to cover the cost of the funeral.
