William Louis Dixon December 02, 2021 Share this obituary Upload Photo| View/Sign Guestbook William Louis Dixon, 76, of Scotch Plains, died on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021 at his home. All services at this time are private. William was born in Appleton, WI, and raised in Neenah, WI. Upon graduating from High School, William went to Carroll University in Waukesha, WI and played football. William then transferred to the University of New Mexico where he completed his Bachelor’s Degree. William began working for Merrill Lynch as a Section Manager in the Bond Dept. for over 15yrs. William and his wife Suzanne settled to Scotch Plains in 1979. Before retiring in 2005, William worked for Creative Office Design, NY, NY for over 20yrs. William was a ton and a Board Member for All Saints Episcopal Church, Scotch Plains. William was a tremendous history buff and fan, and was a Board Member for the Staten Island Historical Society and part of the Billop’s Corps. Historical Militia. William was also a member of the Brigadier of the American Revolution. William enjoyed discussing and following politics as well. William is survived by his wife of 52yrs., Suzanne; his son Peter and wife Valerie; his two grandchildren Lexington and Luca; his brother John W. and wife Kathy; and his sister Judy Hebbe.
