Wilda’s Obituary Wilda May Knutson, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2020. She was born March 16, 1929 in East Liverpool, Ohio to John and Bessie (Scott) Pethtel. She married Rolland D. Knutson two weeks after meeting and they were married 57 years. Rolland proceeded Wilda in death in 2018. Wilda had an exuberance for life and taking on interests with a can-do attitude. She and Rolland started 4 restaurants, one motel, Knut’s garage, and moved several times which included Washington, South Dakota, and Colorado states. Wida’s greatest passion was studying the Bible with Berachah Church located in Houston, Texas. Her daily morning studies were supplied via the mail and came in the 1970’s by reel-to-reel tape, later by cassette tape, and lastly by MP3. Her many Bibles are completely marked, underlined, and highlighted and she leaves notebook after notebook filled with years of Bible doctrine research. She certainly lived by her favorite Bible verse which is “All scripture is God breathed, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God might be mature, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16,17 Wilda is survived by her brother and wife, Rollen and Wini Pethtel, brother and sister in laws Milford and Ellen Knutson, Roger and Carol Knutson, sister-in-law Donna Torkelson, Cousin Vera Higgins, daughter Patricia Westcott, grand children Jeff Langdon, Joanie Langdon, and Jacqueline Fraizer, great grandchildren Taylor R ubes, Joseph Langdon, and Shannon Langdon and her many nieces and nephews.
