She was born on April 5, 1957. She was the daughter of the late W.J. “Red” Hulsey and Shirley Ann Lindsey Hulsey. Ms. Benson is survived by her son, Ian A. Benson-Christie; sister, Sandra Floyd; brother, Johnny Hulsey and Jennifer, and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Benson is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ricky Hulsey.
