Uva Katherine Wilson, age 80, of Wardell, Virginia went to sleep at her home on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, and woke up in the arms of Jesus. As the Lord looked down from his heavenly throne of grace and heard the prayers of his beloved daughter, after a brief illness, he outstretched his arms and said, “Come home.” Uva was born September 21, 1941, in Richlands, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Carl Lowe and Lucy Green Lowe. She was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a devoted Christian who lived her life for the Lord. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was reunited in heaven with her parents, her loving husband, Earl Ray Wilson as well as her brothers, Harry, Jack, James, Scott, and Junior Lowe; and her sisters, Lucille, Mearl, and Leola. Those who remain to carry on her loving spirit are her: Daughter, Tina Beavers, and husband, Donnie of Wardell, VA Son, Robert Wilson, and wife, Tamra of Richlands, VA Grandchildren, Danyelle Cox and husband, Dajon; Raylee Wilson, Kelle Lester and husband, Cody; Brent Beavers and fiancée, Holly Keen. Great-grandchildren, Bentlee Summers, Kylie Beavers, Esau Lester. Sister, Norma Ruth Farrar of Tazewell, VA Brother, Jim Wayne Lowe of IL Many nieces, nephews and special friends, Rosa Johnson and Ray Ball. The funeral service for Uva Katherine Wilson will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with the Rev. Jerry Harmon officiating and Rev. Jerry Wilson reading the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Dajon Cox, Brent Beavers, Jerry Lowe, Larry Lowe, Daris Fain, and Patrick Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Jamal Sahyouni, April Colley, FNP, and Claypool Hill Pharmacy & Employees. A visitation will be on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
