Obituary of Thomas J. Reed Thomas J. Reed, age 84 of Perry, passed away October 22, 2021 Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Madison. He was born April 19, 1937 in Painesville, Ohio to the late Walter K. and Marjorie (Jensen) Reed. Mr. Reed was a graduate of Harvey High School and went on to enlist in the U.S. Army. After his service he was employed at Diamond Shamrock, Industrial Rayon, and Fasson as a Lab Technician for 31 years. He enjoyed gardening and fishing after retirement. He is survived by his sons, Thomas J. Reed Jr. and Jeffery S. Reed; 4 grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Alexa and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Patricia A. Reed in 2014. A private graveside service will be held in Perry Cemetery. Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home of Painesville.
