Obituary Thomas Patrick “Smitty” Smith, 73, Beloved husband of 48 Years to Cynthia (Horvath), devoted father of Melissa (Javier) Smith-Morales, Kimberly (Daniel) Arrighi, and Kelly (Jack MacKeigan) Smith, best known as Papa to Autumn, Oliver, Vera, Lena, Ana and Joe. Tom was the brother of Dorothy, John (Kathe), James (deceased) and William (Teri). Favorite brother-in-law of Nikki (Steve) Dean. Tom was the cherished uncle, grand uncle and friend to many. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, John (Bim) and Dorothy Smith, as well as his nephews Brian and Christopher. U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.The family will receive friends at McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME, 14133 DETROIT AVENUE, LAKEWOOD, OHIO, ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 2, 2022, FROM 1 TO 4 PM. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Malachi Catholic Church, West 25th and Washington Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 44113. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland or Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity.
