Obituary Terry L. Acker, 82, of Richmond Township, passed away on Wednesday evening, June 2, 2021 at his home. Born July 10, 1938 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Dorothy H. (Pauley) and Charles M. Acker. Terry worked for over 19 years for Security Guards, Inc. at Reading Tube, retiring in 2006. He also worked for 32 years at three local shoe factories, Saucony Shoes, Kutztown Shoes and Wenton Shoes. Terry attended Topton schools and enjoyed stamp collecting. Terry is survived by his two sons, Chris A. Acker, Coker, Alabama and Dr. Jon C. Acker, Coker Alabama. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie L. (Acker) Britzenhoff. Along with his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Betty M. (Acker) Hess. Services for Terry will be private.
