Susan’s Obituary Susan Vroom, 58, of Bangor, PA passed away Tuesday, September 7th, at her residence. Susan was born in Plainfield, NJ on June 8, 1963, a daughter of Edward B. Vroom, of Bangor, PA, and the late Doris D. (Dunning) Vroom. She was a 1981 graduate of South Plainfield High School in South Plainfield, NJ, graduated from the Casino Dealer School at Northampton Community College, and studied at duCret School of Art in Scotch Plains, NJ. Susan was employed as a card dealer at Mt. Airy Casino in Mt. Pocono, PA. Prior to that, she worked at Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem, PA. In addition to her father Edward, Susan is survived by a sister, JoAnn Svanberg, wife of Lars, a niece Brittni Svanberg and a nephew James Dekmar. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. Bangor, PA.
