Shirley LaVerne Duncan Thompson Born in Denver, CO 7/5/1929 to Elmer Duncan & Leona Lenahan Duncan As a small child Shirley liked to ride her bike & visit friends in her childhood neighborhood. At a young age a family moved into town. This family would introduce Shirley to her best friend, future husband & love of her life Cecil Ray Thompson On 09/27/1948 Shirley married Cecil They started the marriage in CO, spent some time in Wy, UT & welcomed two beautiful children, Kenneth Ray Thompson & Terry Allen Thompson into their family. Moving back to CO & Residing in their forever place Wellington CO. Two Entrepreneurs at heart, opening multiple businesses with the long term success of the T-Bar-Inn. In Retirement Shirley & Cecil loved to travel to spend time with loved ones, travel to New Mexico, play cards & enjoy their dogs. Shirley is survived by her 3 grandchildren Raquel, Wess & Brandon, Daughter in- Law Brenda, Spouses Sheila & Nicole & 6 Great Grandchildren Aubrey, Colton. Justin, Travis, Brielle & Alivia Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Cecil. Her two sons Kenneth & Terry. A funeral service will be held 10 am, Friday, December 31, 2021 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Private Interment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery,Denver, Colorado.
