Shirley Long age 74 formerly of Corpus Christi, Texas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reagan Long, her parents, Leroy and Geneva Perkins. Shirley is survived by her son, Randy Long and his wife, Sylvia; her grandson, Ryan Lester; her sisters, Loretta Rutherford and Tammy Noblitt and her husband, Kenneth; her nephew, Ashley Rutherford; and her niece, Lacy Rutherford. Shirley was a talented Artist. She painted in oils and acrylic. Her paintings included Still Life on canvas and landscape. She always sewed and baked with her best friend, Cecelia Lane. She was “stylish” and “hip”. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in San Antonio and was a former member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Corpus Christi. SERVICES Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78230. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. followed by the Service at 1:00 P.M. at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery Chapel, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
