Sadie Chustz Guidry July 31, 1935 – October 03, 2021 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Church Point, LA : A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 8, 2021 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mrs. Sadie Ann Chustz Guidry, 86, who passed away at 2:05 AM Sunday, October 3 at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Fr. David Rozas, parochial vicar of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church will be the Celebrant of the Mass and burial will take place in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery on Hwy 35 north of Church Point. Sadie, a resident of Church Point, was the daughter of the late Mr. Georgette Chustz and the former Aline Guidroz. She is survived by three sons, Brian Michael Guidry of Ward, AR, Wendel Kent Guidry and wife Vonda C. Guidry of Church Point and David Neil Guidy and wife Denise C. Guidry of Rayne, LA; eight grandchildren: Brian Michael Guidry, II, Chantal LeBlanc, Maghone’ Kramer, Juliann Guidry, Brittany Smith, David Austin Guidry, Bobby Nicholas Guidry and Chloe Annalynn Guidry; sixteen great-grandchildren: Bailey, Peyton, Acadiah, Cooper, Landon, Ethan, Dillan, Addylin, Dakota, Sadie Grace, Ansleigh, Peyton, Raegan, Avie, Ivy, Skylar and “one on the way”, Annalise Liv Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Irby Francis Guidry and one granddaughter, Amy Olivia Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Guidry Funeral Home on Thursday, October 7, from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM and continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the time of services. A rosary will be recited in the funeral home Thursday evening at 6:00 PM followed by a eulogy at 6:30 PM. Personal condolences may be sent to the Guidry family at www.guidryfuneralhome.com.
