Rose Marie’s Obituary Rose Marie was born in Las Vegas, NM December 26th, 1946 and passed away on July 25th, 2021 in Rio Rancho, NM at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her Parents Raymond and Nina Tafoya, her Sister Frances Garcia, and Great Grand Children Arianna and Joseph Peña-Espinoza, her Step Father Max Madrid, special Aunt Ida Garcia from Denver, CO and Aunt & Uncle Ernest and Toni Tafoya from Las Vegas, NM. She is survived by her beloved Daughters Georgia Espinoza of Las Vegas, NV and Stephanie Vialpando and Husband Leo of Albuquerque, NM. Grandchildren, Jonathan Goke and Michael Goke of Las Vegas, NV. Dominic Espinoza and wife Monica from Rio Rancho, NM. Shantel Espinoza and Alyssa Espinoza of Albuquerque, NM, Isaiah Vialpando from Albuquerque, NM, and Erin Vigil of Rio Rancho, NM. Great Grandchildren; Lanae, Dominic Jr, and Isaac. Her Sister Darlene “Jana” Follins and Husband Bryan Follins from Las Vegas, NV. Nephews Bobby Garcia, Michael Garcia, and Esteban Garcia & Families from Colorado Springs, CO. Foster Sisters; Diane, Josie, and Janet. Step Brothers and Sisters Edward Madrid, Richard Madrid, and Bobby Madrid, Carla Madrid and Elaine Estrada from Las Vegas, NM. And a Very Special Puppy “Paris”. Rose Marie graduated from West Las Vegas High School in 1965. She worked at the Welfare office until 1970 at which time she moved to Denver, CO and worked for the City and County of Denver at Vital Statistics until 1983. Returning to Las Vegas, NM and retiring in 2003 from CYFD. She enjoyed reading the Bible, going to the Casino, her visits to her Daughter, Grandsons, Puppy Paris and Sisters in Las Vegas, NV. She enjoyed her get togethers with her Family in Albuquerque, NM and Rio Rancho, NM. She loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was a big fan of the Denver Broncos. Rose Marie has been cremated and her ashes will be buried in her plot next to her Mother and Step Father in Las Vegas, NM. Rogers Mortuary will be handling all services. A Celebration of Life for Rose Marie will be held at 10am on Monday, August 2nd at Heart of David Worship Center, with Pastor James Vaughn reciting at 333 Peggy Lee Ln Las Vegas, NM 87701 with a Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetary in Las Vegas. Eulogy will be delivered by Jonathan Goke.
