Obituary Ronald James Spear Jr, 68, beloved Husband, Father and Papa found eternal peace on November 24, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. An avid fisherman, hunter and sports enthusiast, Ron loved to share his many talents with friends and family. Ron was born June 6, 1953 in Colorado Springs but spent his younger years growing up in Englewood. A proud “Pirate”, Ron was a star athlete and good friend to many. Ron was a highly respected and successful branch manager for several commercial construction companies where he excelled throughout his career. He enjoyed building great friendships over the years and sharing in the growth of his beloved Colorado. He retired at the age of 62 to spend more time enjoying his family, his cabin in the Colorado Mountains, travel, cooking and participating in the many outdoor activities he loved. Most of all he cherished time with his most treasured gifts; his grandkids. Ron is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan; his daughter Tami and her husband Mike Northrop; his son Stephen and his wife Amber; his four grandchildren, Kendal, Kaitlynn, Brady and Kamryn; brothers and sisters, Allan Kaiser and his wife Cathy, Sandy and her husband Pete, Julie McElfresh and her husband Mike, Ken Spear and his wife Cindy, Polly Spear and her husband Dennis Adamek, Amy Sullivan & Drew (Andy) Spear and his wife Lynn and many wonderful Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald Spear Sr. and Theresa Ausec Spear, Brother-in-Law James Sullivan and beloved Nephew Nicolas. A Memorial Service will be held at Drinkwine Family Mortuary in Littleton, Colorado on December 10th at 11 am followed by a true Celebration of Life Reception at Lariat Lodge Brewing Company in Ken Caryl at 1pm.
