Truhlar, age 87, of Dunedin, Fl., formerly of Chicago and Willow Springs, IL. US Navy Veteran, 29-year distinguished career with the Chicago Police Department. Beloved husband of Nancy L (nee Smith) Truhlar. Loving father of Debra (Mark) Zoller and Jeffrey Truhlar. Proud grandfather of Eric (Sarah) Zoller and April (Frank) Formato. Great-grandfather of Colin and Jacob Zoller and Blake and Harper Formato. Dear brother of Joseph Truhlar and Linda (Joseph) Muhr. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Bertha Truhlar. Ronald was a loyal member of the Fraternal Order of Police (CPD-FOP#7) and the Illinois Police Association. Funeral service and entombment will be held at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park, IL on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at 1:30pm. Arrangements entrusted to the Original Kuratko Family, Brian D.
