Obituary Robert Leigh “Bobby” Anderson of Fairview, North Carolina, passed October 23, 2021. He was eighty-two. Bobby was born August 15, 1939, to the late Vera Edna Rupp Landfair and Melvin Anderson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Tulsa until he was drafted into the US Army. Bobby was a musician and a member of the Protestant Church. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry, and sister, Linda Anderson. He is survived by Deanna Sue Kennedy Anderson, to whom he was married forty-four years; children, Wade Bray and Christie Johnson (Marty) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Amy Wright (Ted) of Fairview, North Carolina; and grandchildren, Megan Weil of Fairview, North Carolina, and Nicolas and Evan Park, Abby Johnson, and Fiona, Delia and Finn Bray, all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. A service will be held in Bobby’s honor at Feed & Seed of Fletcher, officiated by Phillip Trees and Jim Turpin.
