Robert James Breaux June 27, 1948 – December 7, 2021 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook LAFAYETTE ~ Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery (300 W. Betty Dr., Rayne, LA 70578) for Robert James Breaux, age 73, who passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Camelot of Broussard. Mr. Breaux was a native of Rayne and a resident of Cankton having been a parishioner of St. John Berchman Roman Catholic Church. A veteran of the military, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Breaux was an incredibly loving and caring man. He enjoyed music and loved riding his motorcycle, which was his passion. Survivors include three sisters, Linda Breaux, Helen B. Guidry, and Barbara Domingue and her husband, Willie; one brother, Wallace Breaux and his wife, Mary; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calice Breaux and Eva Trahan Breaux; four brothers, William Breaux and his wife, Barbara, Lawrence Breaux and his wife, Anita, Perlise Breaux and his wife, Alberta, and Warren Breaux; and one sister, Gloria Lantier.
