Rita Alma Gotham, 74, of Hudson, NH, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at her residence. She was born September 24, 1947 in Somerville, MA, daughter of Phillippe R. Flannery and the late Doreen (Dionne) Flannery. Rita was also predeceased by a son, Eric Gotham as well as by a sister, Clare McAskill. She was the loving wife of Edward Gotham, Jr. of Hudson. Rita was a former hair stylist that owned Rita’s Salon in Woburn, MA. She was a deeply religious woman that loved her family as well as all animals. Besides her loving husband, Ed, she is survived by a son, Matthew Gotham, two step sons, Jeff Gotham and Wade Gotham, her siblings; Kathleen Canney, Beatrice Wood, Paul Flannery, Doris Walsh, Ralph Flannery, Irene Blanz and Charles “Danny” Flannery. She was also the loving grandmother to six grandchildren and a loving great grandmother to three great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 5th from 9am-10:30am with a Prayer Service at 10:30am in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., in Hudson, NH. All guests are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering. Burial will be in Flint Cemetery in Tyngsboro, MA.
