Raymond E. Weinberg, 72, of Bronson, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at ProMedica Coldwater Hospital. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Assumption Church in Bronson with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating. Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home. Ray was born August 14, 1948 in Coldwater, MI to David & Evelyn (Kregger) Weinberg. Mr. Weinberg had a long time career in banking management, specializing in agriculture. He was also a lifelong farmer, which he loved, operating his family farm. Ray was a member of St. Mary’s Church where he belonged to the Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the NWTF, the Lions Club and was actively involved with the planning of the Polish Festival for many years and also a past king. Ray was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and gardening and was known for making some good wine. Ray is survived by his children Luther (Marcie) Weinberg of Niles, Jake (Lisa) Weinberg of Buchanan, Matt (Rosanna) Weinberg of Niles, his mother Evelyn Weinberg of Bronson, his brother Phillip Weinberg of Union City, his grandchildren Daniel, Alicia, Hunter, Alex, Coy, Cora, Caleb & Matty; and great grandchildren Rosie & Amarah.
