He was born in Webster, Florida on August 30, 1945 to Robert and Etta Mae Johnson. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church in St. Catherine, Florida. He is survived by his wife: Effie Johnson of Webster, Florida; 1 son: Duane Johnson (Phyllis “Stormy”) of Bushnell, Florida; 1 daughter: Brenda Johnson of Webster, Florida; 1 Granddaughter: Jenny Johnson of Bushnell, Florida; 1 brother: Leeroy Johnson of Starke, Florida; 1 sister: Ruby Lohr (Al) of Bushnell, Florida. A service will be held on Monday December 6, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Purcell Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 1-2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ricky Draper officiating. Interment will follow at Linden Cemetery in Linden, Florida. All arrangements handled by Purcell Funeral Home Chapel in Bushnell, Florida.
