Obituary Peter Steven Ciccone, 71, of Brighton Twp., passed away on Friday December 24, 2021, in Good Samaritan Hospice at Heritage Valley, Beaver, following a courageous battle with cancer. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, Pete managed his illness with strength and grace, and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day, he was surrounded by his children and wife, who he adored more than anything else in the world. Pete was born on July 17, 1950, in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Peter and Alda (Leo) Ciccone. Pete graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1968. After graduation, Pete served our nation in the United States Army National Guard from 1973 – 1979. Pete was a humble, selfless, and hard-working man. Pete was employed with First Energy as a Maintenance Superintendent and retired in 2012. Most recently, Pete was employed as a Starter at Blackhawk Golf Course, where he enjoyed many rounds of golf with his buddies. After retirement, Pete loved spending time in Florida with Mikie, his wife. In Florida he enjoyed the sunshine, warmth and playing golf. Pete was known as an honest, quiet, and faithful friend, father and husband. He cherished his time with his family and his two grandchildren. There was little Pete would not do for his family’s happiness. Pete leaves behind his beloved wife of 47 years, Michaela (Curilovic) Ciccone, two sons, Chad (Susan) Ciccone and Michael Ciccone, his two grandchildren Michael and Sydney, his two brothers, Jeff (Michelle) Ciccone and David (Frann) Ciccone, and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nick and Kathy Curilovic, and many nieces and nephews.
