Peter F. Moore, husband of Patricia (Barkhorn) Moore, of Wamphassuc Road, Stonington, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on Saturday, August 14, 2021. He was 64. Born in Westerly, he was the son of the late Thomas and Marguerite Moore. Peter held the position of President of The Moore Company for years until his retirement. In addition to his wife Patricia, he leaves behind three daughters, Lucy Linden Flynn Moore of Stonington, CT, Millicent Barkhorn Moore of Manhattan, NY and Cecilia Fahey Moore of Seattle, WA; siblings, Dorothea Moore of Stonington, CT, Marguerite “Daisy” Smythe of Matunuck, RI, Liza Moore of South Freeport, ME, John Moore of Mystic, CT, Alexandra Moore of Stonington, CT and Susan Metz of Reston, VA; as well as many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his brother Timmy Moore. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11am on Friday, August 20th at St. Mary’s Church, 95 Main St., Stonington. Burial will be private.
