Paul’s Obituary Paul Richard Lanham October 15, 1933 – March 31, 2021 Paul was born in Nounan Idaho to Richard and Bernice Bischoff. He grew up in several lumber camps in NW Washington State, Seattle, and Silverton OR. He married Patricia Neff in 1953. After serving in the US Army, he and Pat returned to Silverton to raise their three children. Paul worked for the Marion County Surveyors office for 30 years and also volunteered with the Silverton Fire Department. Paul married Karen McBride in 1986. After retirement, Paul enjoyed his friends, restoring old cars, building fully working metal models, doing metal machining and brass castings, and helping out anyone with a need in repairing just about anything. Paul was a long-time member of the Silverton Elks Lodge, and multiple car and machinist clubs thru the Willamette Valley. Paul passed away due to complications from a stroke. Paul is survived by his children Bryan, Lynne and Bruce, step-children Sue and Steven; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, his half-sister Kathy Crane, and his half-brother Robert Bischoff. He is preceded in death by father Richard Bischoff, mother Bernice Lanham, step-father Lloyd Lanham, wife Karen Lanham, ex-wife Patricia Neff, and half-brother Ronald Bischoff. A graveside service will be held at Valley View Cemetery, Silverton Oregon, on Saturday, April 10 at 11 am. Read More
