Obituary Nicholas “Nick” Arthur Tennis, 69, of Clarksburg passed away at his home after an extended illness on April 4, 2021. He was born in Oakland, CA on August 30, 1951, the son of the late Betty Costello Tennis Trump and Fredrick Tennis. He grew up in North View and graduated in 1969 from Notre Dame High School. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Anna Wacowski Tennis; three children, Nikki Tennis, of South Charleston, WV, Kristen Majewski of Bridgeport, and Nicholas Tennis of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Izabella and Eliza Majewski and Ezra and Rosalia Somazze. A lifelong lover of music, Nick had a smooth voice and great sense of humor which he showcased as a disc jockey and advertising salesman at WHAR Radio in 1970’s and 1980’s. He also, worked selling cars at Saturn of Clarksburg and selling advertisement at WBOY TV. Nick’s ability to recall historical events and trivia was unsurpassed. His family hopes he is walking freely and/or driving the Ferrari he always wanted in the afterlife. As Nick requested, there will be no service and he will be cremated.
