Obituary Melva Anne White-Wilcox, 74, wife of Raymond Jasper Wilcox, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at her home. She was born in Broughton, Massachusetts, on February 6, 1947, to the late Melvin and Eva White. She was a retired nurses aid at Rose Manor Nursing Home and attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In addition to her loving husband of 34 years, she is survived by six children, Betty (Ricky) Johnson, Teresa (Dennis) Haggard, John Dee (Aileen) Wilcox, Angela Crowell, Raymond (Kelly) Wilcox, Tyler Chism; one brother, Warren White; and her faithful dog, Red. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Harold White and Lillian White. Services will be at 3:00PM, Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Wayne Elkins. Burial will follow at Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ricky Johnons, Dennis Haggard, Nathan Davis, Tyler Waak, Little Raymond Wilcox, and J.R. Johnson. Visitation will be from 2:00PM until time of service.
