Obituary Mary Frances Foster Lucas, 88 widow of Birl Lucas, of Versailles, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.Born in Winchester, Indiana she was a daughter of the late Lester L. and Ethel Rea Strahan Foster. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was also preceded in death by her oldest son, Steven Ray Foster. Mary leaves behind two children, Jeffery E. (Pam) Lucas, Nonesuch, daughter, Sherry (Clive) Gooch, Sebastian, Florida, daughter-in-law, Nona Perez, Versailles. Mary was proud of her grandchildren, Steven (Page) Foster, Versailles, Lorrie Foster (Dave), Illinois, Heather (Tony) Hartgrove, Mt Sterling, Jeffery W. Lucas, Lexington, Bradley R. Lucas, Lexington, great grandchildren, Audrey, Jack, Alaina, Brayden, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be private with Rev. Dale Ragland officiating.
