Obituary Marlin Laverne Hill 83, of Lawrenceville, Ill. passed away peacefully at his residence with his loving family at his side on Friday, December 17, 2021. Marlin was born in Vincennes, IN on August 1, 1938 to the late Benjamin Franklin Hill and Pearl Gregory Hill. Marlin worked construction all his life and enjoyed time with his friends and family; mostly he loved to take his grandchildren on golf cart rides and his little dog Molly. He is survived by; children, Patricia Moon (Thomas) of Oaktown, Tonya Sue Lingle of Lawrenceville, Robin Duckworth (Bud) of Vincennes, and Jamie Harrington (Ron) of Flat Rock, Ill; a daughter-in-law, Angie Hill; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Chuck Smith; and sister-in-law, Virginia Smith. He was preceded in death by; wife, Marcella Haynes Hill; two sons, Troy and Marlin Hill; two brothers; and a sister. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. EST until 12:00 P.M. EST at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel with a service immediately following at 12:00 P.M. EST also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery in Russellville, Ill. online condolences may be left at www.fredrickandson.com.
