Mario H. Gonzales was born January 12, 1960 in Van Nuys, California to Bernabe and Esperanza Gonzales. He was raised in Pacoima, California with his two brothers, Robert and Bernarbe. At the young age of 15, he met the love of his life, Irma, who he was married to for 40 years. Later they had three loving children, Alena, Brenda and Poncho. Through the years his family continued to grow. Mario was blessed with two wonderful son-in-laws, Nestor and Joe, in which they had a true father and son bond. It was then his name changed from Dad to Grampy with five amazing grandchildren, Savannah, Jasmine, Alexa, Rudy and Jobe. Mario was a man of true laughter and love who enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family and friends, and caring for his parents. He was a talented man who could fix anything and make something beautiful out of nothing. He was always there for you to lend a helping hand at any hour of the day. On December 30, 2020 Mario was called home to be with the Lord. He received his wings and we gained a guardian angel.
