Born and raised in Riviere-du-Loup, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Ouellet) Marcotte, she resided for most of her adult life in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties. Terry was educated formally in Canada but was a life-long learner who was proud of having taught herself to speak English from a dictionary after arriving in New York and later, getting most of the answers on her favorite television show Jeopardy correct. She enjoyed crossword puzzles especially really hard ones in the New York Times Crosswords which she did in pen! She was an avid reader and enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Besides challenging her mind, she also enjoyed challenging her culinary self. She taught herself to cook, creating delicious gourmet food from around the world and later taught cooking and entertaining classes at Hunterdon County Adult Education. She had won several blue ribbons for her self-created recipes. Terry began her career as an office manager in several different industries prior to becoming a stay at home mom and volunteer for many years. Later when she returned to the workforce she supported offices in real estate and chiropractic care until she left to assist in providing child care to her granddaughter. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Richard F. Larios, six brothers as infants and four dear sisters: Monique Ouellet, Gemma Boisclair, Denise Bourgoing and Madeline Khanschassoff. Terry leaves behind her beloved daughter and son-in-law Lana and Phil Nicholson of Branchburg, son and daughter-in-law Paul R. and Andrea P. Larios of Lambertville and her sweet sister Lou Peabody of Florida. She will be deeply, deeply missed by her adored granddaughter Ciara Nicholson; step-grandson Joseph Krajack and wife Allesandra and many cherished nieces and nephews. Terry had a generous spirit and believed in the advancement of medicine, for this reason, many years ago she signed up for full body donation to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School as such, there will not be any services. There will be a memorial celebration of her life.
