Obituary Marie Lamb Prater, 90, of Berea died Sunday, December 26, 2021 at The Terrace Nursing and Rehab Facility following an illness. She was born November 5, 1931 daughter of the late Loyid and Margaret Willis Lamb, retired Irvine Industries employee, member of Owsley Fork Baptist Church and resident of Madison County most of her life. In her spare time Marie enjoyed reading, sewing and cooking. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Melissa Kay Chrisman (Bruce); granddaughters Kelleigh Johnson (Michael), Kourtney Roe (Andrew); great-grandchildren Landon, Henlee, Berkely; as well as numerous relatives, friends and church family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sons Mark Prater, Danny Prater; siblings Raymond Lamb, Donald Lamb, Norma Powell, Opal Centers. Funeral Service 1:00 PM Friday, December 31, 2021 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Wilder officiating. Burial will follow in Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation 5:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Powell, Jeff Centers, John Rose, Mike Richardson, Darryl Payne, Tony Centers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Michael Johnson, Andrew Roe, Landon Chrisman.
