Obituary Lois Avis Nielsen, age 90, daughter of Henry and Ella (Meier) Hall, was born on December 15, 1931 in George West, Texas. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family which included her beloved great granddaughter and longtime caretaker, Kaitlyn Renaud and her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Lewis Mashburn. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Ella Hall; her first husband and father to her children: Jude Lynch (1967); husband, Lester Nielsen (1998); son, Daniel Lynch (2018); three sisters; one brother; two nephews; and one niece. Lois, described as an animal lover, is survived and will be missed by her children: Susan (Kenneth) Hittson, daughter-in-law, Marion Lynch (Daniel’s wife); Teresa (Lewis) Mashburn; Lea Ann Lynch; seven grandchildren including her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Renaud who devoted many years caring for her Nana; 16 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister, Peggy (Joseph, deceased) Abshire; many other family and friends.
