Linda Marie Trusk, 77 of Fort Myers, FL passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs. Formerly of Phoenixville, PA she had been a Fort Myers resident since 2002. Linda was born December 7, 1943 in Wilmington, DE a daughter of the late Attilio Joseph and Clara (Perrella) DeFiore. After graduating from Ursuline Academy in Wilmington, her working life began as a dental assistant. She later became a self-educated bookkeeper for a restaurant chain, climbed the corporate ladder and ultimately retired as Vice President of Administration & Facilities for Comcast. She was an avid equestrian and fox hunter and enjoyed sharing her love of horses with her daughter and granddaughter. Linda loved the outdoors and enjoyed the time playing tennis or golf, most especially when she made her amazing hole-in-one in 2010. She had become a seasoned traveler and cherished spending time with her friends playing cards and board games. She was also very involved within her Crown Colony community where she served multiple years on the board of directors for the homeowners association. Linda had an endearing smile that could brighten any room and will be forever missed by many. Survivors include her high-school sweetheart and husband of 56 years, James M. Trusk; loving children, Todd (Mary Kate) Trusk of Newtown Square, PA, Alison (Patrick) White of Brentwood, TN; sister, Rita Tigani of Wilmington, DE; cherished grandchildren, Christopher Trusk, Andrew White, Michaela Trusk, Matthew White, Timothy Trusk, Kathleen Trusk, Alexandra White, Meghan Trusk and Charlie Trusk; and beloved cat, Taco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Robert “Chick” DeFiore. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Wilmington, DE and Fort Myers, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda’s name may be made to Joanne’s House at Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL 34135.
