Obituary Linda K. Camic, age 68, Indianapolis, Indiana went to be with the Lord after a long fight with kidney disease and recent battle of cancer on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was born on Monday, February 4, 1952, in Indianapolis to Fred Sr. and Edna Mae (Voiles) Bennett. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Edna Mae (Voiles) Bennett, brother Fred Bennett Jr, sister Barbara J. Dryden. She is survived by her husband William H. Camic, son William F. (wife Cari) Camic, daughter Carol A. (husband Emmanuel) Merchiers, sister Donna M. Gilbert (husband Steve), 4 grandchildren Tyler, Todd, Alexandre, Chloѐ, 1 great grandson Ashton, and many extended family and friends. Linda enjoyed being a Sunday school teacher, loved to sing in the Church choir and worked for Perry Township School Corporation in the cafeteria for 27 years. She is loved and greatly missed by all who knew her. Should friends desire as an expression of sympathy, contributions may be sent in memory of Linda to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 6341 Mann Road, Indianapolis IN 46221 and/or The American Cancer Society. Celebration of life will be held at a later time at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church.
