Leroy Dancy, MSGT, US Army, Retired and long time resident of Pemberton, NJ., passed away on December 30, 2020. He was 86 years old. Beloved husband of Eddie Grace (nee Green). Loving father of Jimmy Dancy, Gwen Dancy-Coats (Vaughn), Leroy Dancy, Jr. (Connie), and Trina Washington (Clyde). Devoted grandfather of Christopher Dancy (Nicole), Sharisse Coats, Tatianna Sherman, Christina Washington, Clyde Washington and Roman Dancy. Great grandfather of Shelby DeVose, Elijah Green, Ariyah Green, and Kadijah Dancy. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Dancy Sr. and Maggie Battle Dancy, his siblings Albert Dancy, Jr., Ella Williams and George Dancy. He is survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends who will mourn his passing. He retired from the U.S. Army after 23 years of service and worked with the U.S. Post Office in Trenton, NJ for 21 years. He was a Master Mason and a member of the American Legion Post 294 and V.F.W. Post 10065. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 10-11am on Wednesday, January 6 followed by his Funeral Service at 11am at BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, 601 NJ 73 South (at Evesham Rd.), Marlton, NJ. Burial services will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Leroy Dancy to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3 Eves Dr., Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
