Obituary Larry was born on August 11, 1960 in Monett, Missouri to Gilbert and Mary Fortney, and was the oldest of 2 siblings. Larry passed away December 1, 2021 in Lafayette, Colorado. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in Springfield, Missouri in 1978. Larry dedicated his life to the Lord all his life. He enjoyed going to church, going to the youth summer camps, and was very active in sports. He especially enjoyed playing tennis, baseball, golf, and enjoyed watching football. He was VERY competitive. He used to ride dirt bikes, which is where his love for motorcycles came from. He enjoyed traveling with his daughter, Tinneke all over the place. Larry and Tinneke would travel across the state just to eat somewhere. They also would just get out on their motorcycles and cruise somewhere random. Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycle in the mountains. He was very adventurous. Larry very much enjoyed working for pharmaceutical companies. He also traveled across the world as a consultant and was very good at what he did. Larry is survived by his father Gilbert Fortney, sister Karen Will, Brother David Fortney, beloved daughter Tinneke Rossi, Son-in-Law Lee Rossi, and his grandkids Maya Rossi and Maci Rossi. Memorial service will be at Grace Church in Arvada, Colorado at 12pm on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.
