Obituary Kolby J. Doerr, 14, of Blandon, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born December 21, 2006 in Fountain Hill, Kolby was the son of Joseph J. and Katrina M. (Capper) Doerr, Blandon. Kolby fought a valiant battle against cancer, passing away on the one year anniversary of his diagnosis. He was a strong young man who touched so many lives throughout his family, friends and our community. Kolby was an 8th grade student at Fleetwood Area Middle School. Kolbster was a big goofball. He loved singing and dancing, while making up words to songs as he went. Kolby loved many things throughout his life. He was a huge fan of “The Flash” and loved watching Netflix and TV, especially the Vampire Diaries. He was a big fan of monster trucks and, along with Dad, was able to get up close and personal with his favorite truck, Gravedigger. He enjoyed playing basketball in the driveway and was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, loving the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and Sixers. Kolby was a foodie for sure. His favorite restaurant was Cristina’s in Blandon where he loved the chicken fingers and fries. Coming in a close second were his trips to McDonald’s for a cheeseburger, fries and of course, a chocolate milk. Of course, who could forget Kolby’s must have staples, his M&M’s and his Hershey bars. Most of all, Kolby loved his family. He cherished his time with Mommy and Daddy and his big sisters, Jocelyn and Karissa, and looked forward every year to the special Memorial Day weekend at the beach in Avalon with all of his family and his cousins. Kolby is survived by his Mommy and Daddy, his twin sisters, Jocelyn and Karissa, his maternal grandparents, Catherine M. (Gormley) and Richard M. Capper, Chalfont, his paternal grandmother, Joan M.
